We recieved a private tour of Ground Zero. Probably the most amazing day, to get a tour from a retired NYPD officer. He was one of thousand who answered the call that day in September.

Ahhh. Here we are on the eve of the next Presidential election. I am so excited I could fall asleep. How is it that in a country of 305,000,000 people, these are the best 2 options for the role of "Leader of the Free World". What does that say about our country? I feel like I am watching Rocky 6. You just don't care who wins.... you just want it to end. There hasen't been an election with 2 bigger losers since the Clinton/ Dole sleeper of 95'. The sad thing is that the Democrats are going to hold a larger majority in congress than they already have but their approval rating is 10 points lower than Bush's. What does that say about us? We are a country of sado masochists. The congress right now is at a 17% approval rating. 17%!!!!!!! what other employee would keep his or her job if they scored a 17% on a performance review? Not me! Of well, the good ol' boy network just continues to roll along and you and I just continue to get a big Beltway boot up our asses! Boy, what a country!!!
